Great book if you want to relieve your social anxiety! While this book hasn't completely cured, it has definitively helped me to lower my social anxiety levels. Now going to the grocery store doesn't stress me out, before I would feel embarrassed and judged. But this book made me realize that people are not judging me, because they are worrying about themselves.
This was a great book. It got into some detail on how to handle panic attacks. Some excellent tips the author gives such as staying fit, stimulating your brain, making use of positive statements and more. The book is short but packed with some great information for anyone who suffers with any type of anxiety and panic attacks.
Anxiety is a problem that stems from negative thinking and a problem we CAN overcome. Unfortunately the best way to handle it is to just put yourself in the situation that gives you anxiety and deal with it unless you can calm down. There are some great techniques in this book that not only helped me but my friends as well - simple things like breathing slow and deep, more sleep, less alcohol etc.

I still deal with social anxiety sometimes. This book helped me be more aware why and how to deal with it.
This was a helpful book. As someone who deals with anxiety and panic attacks frequently, I appreciate the advice that this book provides. It was short and easy to read, but full of helpful information. The author discusses different techniques for controlling your anxiety, such as controlling your breathing, building healthy relationships and reducing your internal focus. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. Although, I wish there had been a little more science and some case studies in the book to support it. Even still, this is a book worth reading if you or someone you know struggles with anxiety.
The book explained that panic attacks are different from social phobia and anxiety. Although the exact causes of anxiety, social phobia and panic disorders are not fully understood or stated, studies have shown that a combination of factors, including biological and environmental, may be involved. These were mentioned in this book and some additional factors based on new studies globally. Additionally, this read is reliable and I know it can create change or have an impact on people who are having these kinds of problems. It is, indeed, very informational.
Anyone can suffer from anxiety every now and then and I believe that there is no exception for this. It is just a matter of how we handle things whenever we are in these situations.

Now, this book will definitely help every reader understand the symptoms of social anxiety. The strategies and tips listed by Claude Perrier were very effective because I personally tried these strategies and it worked for me. I challenged my negative thoughts and I was able to conquer my fear. Also, most of the times I experience panic attacks, but thanks to this book, I now know how to be in control of every situation.
